Motivation and Beliefs

Hey again followers and bloggers and general people's :)

I am writing today because it has been a huge ups and downs and general toughness and along with couple of deep conversations with couple of people including my friends Luke, Ryan, Charley , Joseph, Katie, Nick, Rhiannon and more besides has made me think. ( I know right, me thinking crazy)

I am beginning to re-think or re-look at what truly motivates me and what I truly believe or put my faith in.
I mean many people have reasons to be motivated it could be motivated for love of a person or love of a hobby/passion, for money to gain wealth and have that excess of financial freedom, for personal achievement just for themselves to gain that ability to say I set out to get this and I HAVE. That's just a few of many things that motivate people, but what keeps people going even through their darkest hours is their faith or their belief (if your not religious or think faith can only be applied to religion beliefs).
What truly keeps people strong at their core is their BELIEF(S).

Belief is a strong concept and many people say that they don't truly believe in anything but everyone believes in something whether it be a religion, a person or just some vague thing like mixture of religion and science or a persons quote alongside their beliefs from being raised as a child by their parents.
My belief is mixture of thoughts, theories from close friends and family members and through it all I've made a few of my own, overall I believe their are/is a greater force(s) at work guiding or influencing my goals and actions day by day , minute by minute. A fave quote of mine and people probably annoyed at it by now is "Everything happens  in the order it's supposed to happen." That's one of my beliefs now or at least a core thing I believe in it was said to me by a great friend of mine during a dark hour long ago that I don't even remember what it was that sparked it but it's one thing I turn to when I need to think and have no idea where to begin, though I could easily say that what my friend believes in it could easily be different to what I believe it means.

This is where I have the took root in a huge framework of belief or structure of Bruce Lee's philosophy of Jeet Kune Do (JKD) known as 'The way of no way, the limit of no limit'. Now that's a brilliant thing to believe in or at least I feel work with to discover your own way , your own path or route to help you along in your journey of life, Use this with any new ideas, thought, theories or anything and work it and take what works for you and reject what doesn't this is basic concept of it , using this I have found many ways to motivate my self, to achieve any goals or tasks I set for myself. I think Jeet Kune Do is a great way to discover what can help motivate yourself in anything life gives you and I feel deeply it is a great way for both myself and anyone to help them filter or figure out what they can hold as their belief to keep them strong no matter how tough it gets for them.

So going back to this and with how today went for me, I feel I need to re-evaluate what I wish to strive towards for my future, what do I truly hold dear/what matters to me most and most of all what do I believe in.
With this I plan to set up three main goals this very precise moment:
1. Read and fully use "Eat that frog" - This will help me set and achieve goals and plans in both immediate and far future
2. Write/Read more - This goes for both my notes/blogs/books everything, I need to get through more writing personally so I can figure out a few things myself, but I feel creative side needs a little more nurturing to just let my mind wander a bit, while collecting and reviewing information I have written or have in my books of many variety's to help improve my skills/knowledge in life to help me be able to open opportunities in my future.
3.  Save Money - This is a basic one but a hard one to do because of lifestyle I lead and stuff just happens but I feel having that extra cash to hand would be useful so I don't have that pressure of going 'oh but that means only have spare tenner to XY date .' I want that financial freedom so that if I want to do something or get something that cost say hundred pounds that I can go " yeah I can do that and wish to do that because I feel the investment is worth it." That's gonna be hard one to do but needs to be done.
That's my goals to achieve, my "frogs to eat" if I wish to quote and I always do ;). So people who see me or speak to me often feel free to keep me on track or discuss these goals or discuss anything I've posted or just stop to me and chat, to help my mind wander and learn and gain even more. So I hope this has helped people discover or begin to help you realise your own motivations/beliefs in life, these are my goals at this moment and can easily change depending on this wide road of life.
Set your own goals to achieve, keep motivated and keep strong in your beliefs guys and gals as wise man once said," If opportunity doesn't knock, build a door."
I've been your man in a hat, best regards
Joseph Reynolds ;) x
